Juliana Guevara & Wbeimar Lasso Gesha 100g

This offering comes from the region of Hulia (WEE-lah), Colombia. This coffee comes from La Terraza Estate, upon sampling it stood out with an immediate satisfactory “mmmm, that’s good.”

This Gesha is fermented with a honey process. The coffee cherries are de-pulped and fermented like washed coffee, but all the way through drying they are encased in their own sticky mucilage. This process gives the cup a distinct sweetness.

In the cup, we find aroma of gardenia and lilac, followed by tasting tartness from cherries then balanced by sweetness from pear and the honey process.
