Luz Helena Salazar 100g

This washed Pink Bourbon comes from Luz Helena Salazar in Quindío, Colombia. With more than 20 years of coffee-growing experience, Luz Helena owns Finca Maracay and co-owns La Leona with her husband, Jairo Arcila. Her sons, Felipe and Carlos, manage processing and export through their company, Cofinet. 

Freshly ground, this coffee opens with aromas of bright citrus and sweetness reminiscent of red blackberries, and black plum. As it brews, the fragrance becomes vividly pink, from sweet pea blossoms and peonies. In the cup, sharp acidity leads into red fruit notes of raspberry and red blackberries, finishing with a touch of honeyed sweetness.
